Monroe Newpower Corporation (MNP) is a Not-for-Profit Local Development Corporation pursuant to Sections 402 and 1411 of the Not-for-Profit Corporation Law of the State of New York. It was established in November of 2002 and is governed by a Board of Directors whose members are appointed by the County Executive of Monroe County.

MNP owns and operates cogeneration facilities located on East Henrietta Road in Rochester, New York. It replaced an aging coal burning facility and provides steam and electricity to Monroe Community College, Monroe Community Hospital and other Monroe County facilities.
